What Is Remy Hair?

Remy hair is cuticle aligned hair, meaning Remi hair is collected and kept in one direction always. This alleviates tangles. Run finger through your hair starting from the root, you’ll find its smooth with all strands going in one direction. Now do the opposite starting from the tip of your hair u in a teasing motion… This action causes friction-creating scales of cuticles, as your hair is now the opposite of quality Remy Hair hair.

Remy hair comes in all styles and can be used in all methods of hair extensions.

  • Weaving – Weaving involves sewing or bonding tracks of hair extensions. This method requires the assistance of a professional hairstylist. He or she will braid your hair into several rows. If the tracks will be sewn, the hairstylist will sew the tracks to the braids using a J-style or C-style needle. These needle types should be used instead of the usual I-style to prevent pricking your scalp. Sewing hair extensions takes a lot of time.    If bonding will be done, the stylist will apply bonding glue on the tracks then attach the extensions to your braids. Unlike sewing, it only takes a short amount of time to bond hair extensions.
  • Fusion – Fusion is the method used to apply keratin hair extensions. Before applying the extensions, your hair should be sectioned first. Then, a heating tool will be used on the keratin glue to bond the tracks to your hair.
